Sierra operates two electrostatic paintlines. Our vertical paintline is for large quantities of extruded material in lengths
between 8 and 21 feet. Our horizontal paintline is primarily for painting parts less than 8 feet or longer than 21 feet in
length (30 foot maximum length). We also use our horizontal paintline to paint parts that can’t be adequately covered
in one pass on the vertical line. Beyond extrusions, we also have the ability to paint small fabricated parts, break shapes,
sheet, panels, and door and window assemblies.
We have relationships with all major coating suppliers including PPG, Valspar, Sherwin Williams, Akzo Nobel, and Duracoat
Products. We apply Kynar, Polyester, and Acrylic paints according to manufacturer’s recommendations both with and without
Epoxy and Flash primers over a chromate conversion coating. We have the ability to color match, in house, in both Kynar and
Polyester paints. If you have a coating need that is unique or unusual, bring it to us. We thrive on challenge.
All of our paint finishes meet or exceed the American Architectural Manufacturer’s Association (AAMA) organic coating
standards 2603-02, 2604-05, and 2605-05 (depending on the coating technology) and we are listed on
AAMA’s verified components list.
