Day in and day out Sierra serves our Architectural, Door, Residential Window, and other business segments with our modern
anodizing line. We have the ability to anodize not only standard linear extrusions, but also sheets, stretch formed curves,
brake metal shapes, aluminum assemblies (such as louvers), and small fabricated parts. Our large tanks (30 feet long by 8
feet deep) allow us to anodize most anything.
We offer Commercial (min .1 mils), Class II (min .4 mils), and Class I (min .7 mils) finishes in clear or with electrolytic
color, progressing from Champagne to Black. In addition to the standard caustic etch finish, we also offer an acid etch
finish.
All of our Anodized finishes meet or exceed the American Architectural Manufacturer's Association (AAMA) standard 611-98
(Voluntary Specification for Anodized Architectural Aluminum) and we are listed on
AAMA's Verified Components list.
With a little bit of maintenance, architectural Anodized finishes will look great and perform for many years. We
recommend using the guidelines in AAMA 609 & 610-02 (Cleaning and Maintenance Guide for Architecturally Finished Aluminum)
to establish an appropriate maintenance program.
